Athletic Bilbao Umbro 2012/13 Home and Away Kits

Spanish La Liga stalwarts and eight time league champions Athletic Club de Bilbao have launched their Umbro home kit for the 2012/13. The kit presentation took place earlier today at the club’s Sala Lezama with several of the club’s players acting as models.

The traditional red and white striped home and black away Athletic Bilbao 2012/13  kits use new Umbro designs featuring somewhat minimalistic and retro-feel looks with v-neck collars. The home kit is expected to make its on the field debut in Bilbao’s first pre-season match against Grenoble on July 13th.

Copa del Rey and UEFA Europa League finalists  last season, Athletic Bilbao holds the distinction of being the only club never relegated from the Spanish La Liga since the league’s founding in 1929. The club’s last league and Copa del Rey titles both came in 1984.
