Bradford City Nike 2012/13 Home Kit

English Football League Two side Bradford City FC has unveiled its Nike 2012/13 home kit.

According to The Bantams’ website: As fans will notice, the kit consists of alternating claret and amber hoops and is almost identical to the club’s first ever kit worn back in 1903 – the year the club formed and played out their first league game against Grimsby Town.

It is hoped that the kit will be a key tool in helping to discover that extra passion the club had in their determined rise from its beginning in 1903 up to FA Cup glory in 1911 (Taking only 8 years!).

The strip also allows us to respect our roots as a football club and fan base, while giving the players that added incentive to wear the shirt with pride, knowing how much history it carries.

It is safe to say that everybody associated with Bradford City Football Club is desperate for success this year after some painful times in recent years.

The release of this kit, we’re all hoping, will symbolise the introduction to a brand new and successful chapter to add to the club’s already proud history.
