After eleven years of as a Reebok athlete, Spain and Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has signed an endorsement deal with national team and club sponsor adidas.
Casillas was unveiled as part of the adidas family on Thursday at one of the firm’s Madrid stores. He will make his debut in the firm’s gear wearing the Response Pro goalkeeper gloves and the adipower Predator soccer boots against Mallorca on Saturday.
Casillas captained Spain to the UEFA EURO 2008 and 2010 FIFA World Cup titles. He was the recipient of the Golden Glove Award for the best goalkeeper of the tournament at the 2010 World Cup.
