Brisbane Roar Football Club (formerly Queensland Roar Football Club) is a professional soccer club from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia competing in the Hyundai A-League. The Roar was the 2010/11 A-League regular season and playoff champions. As a result, the team is an automatic entrant into the 2012 AFC Champions League.
On Monday, the Brisbane Roar FC PUMA 2011/12 home and way kits were officially launched. According to the club’s website:
Following last month’s announcement of global sportswear company PUMA as the club’s apparel partner for the next three seasons, Roar players Shane Stefanutto, Erik Paartalu, Michael Theoklitos and Vedrana Popovic modelled their new kits for fans and media this morning.
Champions of both competitions, the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League squads will wear the new playing strip as they defend their titles in the upcoming seasons.
The home jersey is still predominately orange while players will wear a black away strip for their matches on the road.
