Stade Brestois 29 (commonly referred to as Stade Brest or Brest) is a French football club based in Brest. Brest currently plays in Ligue 1, the top division in French football following its promotion from Ligue 2 at the end of the 2009/10 season.
The club will campaign in Ligue 1 for a second consecutive season in the 2011/12 season courtesy of its 16th place finish in the league last season.
