Mid-table Real Sociedad handed title favorites FC Barcelona only their second loss of the season in Spanish La Liga action on Saturday.

The hosts came back from a goal down on goals from Diego Ifrán and Xabi Prieto after Thiago Alcántara had given Pep Guardiola’s weakened side the lead in the 29th.

Barca remain in first position in the La Liga table with an eight point lead over second place Real Madrid and four matches remaining in the season.
