Video: FC Barcelona’s Pedro’s Beginnings

New FC Barcelona star Pedro made the news this week when he scored in his sixth tournament of the season at the FIFA World Club Cup. He’s also been ever dependable for Barca in La Liga and regularly challenges the likes of Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi for a starting spot in La Blaugrana’s front line.

Now it appears that Pedro is in contention for the Spanish FIFA World Cup 2010 squad. Earlier today, Spain coach Vincente del Bosque has today, “Pedro is a serious candidate for a place at the finals in South Africa.”
