Video: Brazil 0 – Ghana 0. Ghana wins on penalties (FIFA Under-20 World Cup 2009 Final Highlights).

Ghana defended tenaciously for 120 minutes of open play before beating Brazil in a penalty-kick shootout on Friday to become the first African team to win the Under-20 World Cup.

The game finished 0-0 after regulation and extra time as the Black Satellites held off Brazil’s repeated attacks on goal.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored the winning penalty kick for Ghana to make the result of the shootout 4-3 following a series of four missed penalty kicks by the young Selecção.
