Panathinaikos F.C. (Greek: Π.Α.Ε. Παναθηναϊκός), is a popular Greek professional football club based in Athens, Greece. Founded in 1908, they play in the Super League Greece are one of the most successful clubs in Greek football history. They have won 20 Greek championship titles, 16 Greek Cups and reached the European Champion Clubs’ Cup final in 1971.
Panathinaikos have been in the news lately for signing former Liverpool, Marseille and Sunderland French international Djibril Cisse.
Cisse and others were on hand today as Panathinaikos presented their 2009/10 Adidas home, away and third kits. The design for new kits are the same as that used for the now famous Liverpool 09/10 away kit.
