50,000 people attended  Kaká’s presentation last Tuesday. 9,000 attended Raúl Albiol’s on Friday. However, today over 80,000 (including loads of soccer babes) showed up at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain for a glance at Real Madrid’s biggest signing of the year – Portuguese international and current FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid acquired the 24-year-old Portuguese striker from Manchester United last month on a six-year deal worth 94 million euros (131 million dollars). Spanish media reports that he will be paid 13 million euros per year.

Ronaldo will wear Real Madrid jersey number 9. CR9 is born.
